Adam Arnwine, Legislative Analyst
Adam Arnwine is a legislative associate at Texas Star Alliance and a senior at The University of Texas at Austin. He studies sociology and business and is the treasurer of the Health and Society Collective which runs healthcare outreach programs on campus. Adam has a wide range of legislative interests including wholesale energy markets, public education, criminal justice, and healthcare issues.
Adam has gained legislative experience both as a senate messenger and an intern in the Senate Business and Commerce Committee chaired by Senator Kelly Hancock. While in the committee, Adam experienced and dealt with the issues facing Texans, helped move bills through the committee, and built relationships with other staffers around the Capitol. He also has experience as a legal intern in the mass torts division of the Hotze Runkle law firm. While in that position, Adam managed a large client database, managed client medical record ordering systems, streamlined intern duties, and wrote the intern protocol that is still used by the firm.
Adam is an avid Texas sports fan and can be found tailgating at Darrell K. Royal Stadium on the weekends. He is an Eagle Scout and participates in many outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and bouldering. When Adam isn’t at work or studying, he is playing fetch with his dog, Ollie.
