Patrick Humphrey, Legislative Analyst
Patrick Humphrey is a legislative analyst at Texas Star Alliance and is particularly interested in public policy related to education, healthcare, mineral and land rights, and energy. He has gained experience in government affairs, constituent services, and legislative processes while working in the U.S. House of Representatives' district office under Congressman Dan Crenshaw and during his work with political campaigns.
Patrick graduated from Texas Christian University in 2019, where he studied history and political science and earned membership to the Dean's Honor List. He has published a presentation, "The History and Geopolitical Significance of the Iranian Energy Sector," and an interactive online historical exhibit discussing the Aztec Empire's historic capital city, "The Uppsala Map of 1550."
Patrick is a proud Eagle Scout and Houstonian. He cherishes his volunteer work each year with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for the Agriculture Education Committee. A dual citizen of the United States and Mexico, Patrick is fascinated by American and Latin American history and culture. His favorite hobbies include visiting museums and historic sites, shooting sports, reading, and hunting with his dog, Copper.
