Coming Home: Texas Star Alliance Welcomes Back Megan Mauro

Texas Star Alliance officially announces the addition of Megan Mauro, a highly respected legislative, government and public affairs professionals, to its ranks as Principal.

Megan recently stepped down as Interim President and CEO of the Texas Association of Business, the Texas State Chamber of Commerce. During more than

five years with TAB, she advanced from Manager of Government Affairs to the organization's chief executive role. Recognized for her leadership, Megan was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott as Co-Chair of the Texas Jobs Council.

Throughout her tenure, she led major policy initiatives spanning tax, economic

development, technology and innovation, workforce, and regulatory policy. She is

particularly known for building broad-based coalitions that brought together

business leaders, policymakers, trade associations, and other stakeholders to

advance Texas's economic competitiveness.


Prior to her time at TAB, she spent seven years with Texas Star Alliance as an Associate to TSA’s founder John R. Pitts.
