Texas Star Alliance’s client steps up for Hurricane Relief

With so many communities affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Texas Star Alliance client Managed Care of North America (MCNA) joined the relief efforts by donating $50,000 to the American Red Cross Gulf Coast Region. In addition, MCNA donated $600,000 to ReBuild Texas, a fund created by Governor Greg Abbott.

MCNA also contributed over 2,000 dental hygiene kits to the Red Cross and an additional 13,000 kits were donated to the School of Dentistry at UT Health Houston.

MCNA provides dental managed care services to the state’s Medicaid and CHIP populations.  MCNA is dedicated to promoting high-quality and cost-effective oral health by increasing access to dental care for the public. Their network of dentists and oral health specialists is comprised of fully credentialed independent providers dedicated to superb clinical outcomes. Together with their affiliated companies, they provide exceptional service to state agencies and managed care associations all across the nation.  As a partner for dental health in the communities affected, MCNA wants to be a part of getting each of those communities back on the road to rebuilding as quickly as possible.
